In the ashes of the world, I have found solace. Turns out, there are a lot of us who have been burned. We are simple, really. We all crave touch, we all fear it. It still hurts, being close. But I have found that in the pain there is peace. Forgotten children of the world, we are touching once again. We are singing, even though our lungs are full of smoke, and our hearts are aching. At last, we are not alone.
